School Board meeting for tonight has been canceled due to weather and other unforeseen circumstances. We will reschedule the meeting for December 22nd at 6 PM. Applicants for School Board positions will be contacted individually after the school board meeting to schedule interviews.

We are leaving from the Missoula Children’s Theater at Lake Quinault, so the students will be arriving late to their bus stops. If you have any questions please call the school.

Permission forms for the Missoula Childrens theater for Queets Clearwater students have been dropped off at the Queets Trading Post. Please make sure your student brings them to school tomorrow morning.
On Monday December 8th at Lake Quinault School there will be auditions for the Missoula Children’s Theater production for Alice in Wonderland. Tomorrow we will get permission forms dropped off at the Queets Trading Post for parents to fill out and return to school Monday morning.

The Queets Clearwater School District currently has three open positions on its Board of Directors.
Required Qualifications
Applicants must:
• Reside within the Queets Clearwater School District
• Be a U.S. citizen
• Be a registered voter in Jefferson County
Desired Qualifications
The District seeks candidates who are:
• Active participants in the Queets Clearwater community and schools
• Open-minded and possesses strong critical thinking skills
• Supportive of public education in Clearwater and surrounding areas
• Experienced in collaborative board or committee work
• Effective team players and communicators
• Knowledgeable about, or interested in, legislative and educational issues
Expectations of Board Members
Elected members must become familiar with and uphold:
• The District’s Mission, Vision, Beliefs, and 2025–26 Board Goals
• Board policies and Washington State laws governing school boards, including:

The Queets Tigers boys & girls basketball teams will be having a bingo this Sunday November 16th at 4pm at the Queets Gym. All proceeds will be used to ensure the children eat together as a team after away games.
Also, the game on Monday has been switched from home to away at MMK, 5:30 pm & 7:00 pm.
As the weather changes and it gets darker, please remember to stop for the flashing red lights on the Bus! It is ok to drive Through the amber lights (but just know if the amber lights come on the red lights are soon to follow) Please use caution and keep our kid safe.
